AUTUMN EQUINOX FIRE CEREMONY -- September 23, 2010 Come gather in community as we release into the fire that which no longer serves our life's purpose. This year the Autumn Equinox falls on the Full Harvest Moon. Join us as we gather in the moonlight around a blazing fire. As the hours of daylight grow noticeably shorter and the season of rest and rejuvenation begins, it is time to take stock of our spiritual growth. We give thanks for a bountiful harvest of challenges, all of which have encouraged us to grow. In this Equinox Circle we will determine which ideas to hold onto, gathering them like seeds to store for future planting, and which thoughts are outgrown and are likely to prove unproductive. These we will bind into a talisman to offer the fire for transmutation. Bring a stick or a burnable object from nature from which you can fashion a talisman to feed to the fire.
